PRESIDENT

Professor Gloria S. Karuri was born in Jos and attended ECWA Primary School Jos, later Government Secondary School, Zonkwa, Kaduna State and then proceeded to Santa Ana Community College, California, U.S.A where she bagged an Associate degree in Pharmacy technology (Major) and Associate degree in Business Administration (Minor). Prof. Karuri also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc). degree in Psychology, masters of Science (M.Sc) in Clinical Psychology and Doctorate (Ph.D) degrees in Clinical Psychology – all from the University of Jos.

VICE PRESIDENT

Mkpang Ita (PhD) has sixteen years of experience treating people with mental illnesses as the Assistant Director of Clinical Psychology at the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital Aro in Abeokuta, Nigeria. Mkpang’s expertise in child and adolescent clinical psychology allows him to give evidence-based therapies to families and children living with behavioural health challenges.
