Pamela Udoka is a certified and licensed Clinical Psychologist, Relationship/Marital & Sex Therapist who offers comprehensive clinical assessment and psychotherapy for optimal mental wellbeing. She is the lead therapist at Family Wellness Psychological Centre where she supports individuals and couples to develop and maintain mutually enriching and satisfying relationships. She also offers online and mobile services to breach perceived obstacles to mental health care and stigma still associated with the consultation of mental health facilities.
She holds a B.A (Hons) Theatre Arts from the University of Ibadan, Msc (Occasional) leading to Msc in Clinical Psychology, University of Lagos, M. Phil in Clinical Psychology, University of Ibadan and is in the process of rounding up her PhD in Clinical Psychology also at the University of Ibadan, where she is the President of the Postgraduate Association of Psychology Students (PAPS).
Pamela Udoka has honed a professional expertise in relationship and marital conflict resolution, assessment and treatment of sexual disorders and dysfunctions, and management of sexually related traumas. She developed a Marital Conflict Inventory (MCI) which aids assessment and guides psychotherapy for dysfunctional marriages.
Her general clinical practice caters to various dimensions of human personality and psychological disorders including but not limited to depression, general anxiety disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder arising from emotional, psychological, domestic, sexual abuse.
She is blazing a trail in men's sexual health and sexuality issues. She believes that a man who understands how to navigate his sexual functions effectively, will eliminate marital sexual dissatisfaction; which is one of the major causes of conflict in marriages.
She is a full member of both the Nigerian Psychological Association (NPA), and Nigerian Association of Clinical Psychologists (NACP). Member and PRO of Employee Assistance Professionals Association of Nigeria. (EAPA-Nigeria). Member, National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANTAP), President, ASSITEJ Nigeria and global Vice President, ASSITEJ International.
Pamela, has about 20,000 friends and followers across all her social media platforms. She is a wife, mother, abd a regular guest of radio and TV programs. She is widely also traveled both within and outside Nigeria. She is a Public Speaker, and speaks boldly and confidently about sex and sexual matters in church gatherings and in other public spaces.
She has been blissfully married to Prof. Arnold Udoka for over 25 years and both are blessed with absolutely adorable children.
